A great opportunity is approaching to show foster kids
some love!

The Run 4 Fun Walk/Run is to support the Camp to Belong Orange County is July 19th, 2009.
Those participating in the Run 4 Fun Walk/Run is 2K for walking participants, and 4K for running participants.
Walk/Run is scheduled to start 8:30am July 19th, 2009. If you have not pre-registered, you can do so as early as 7:30am on the day of. Participants should arrive at least 30 min before event begins.

Run 4 Fun 4 Foster Kids is coming to Orange County, and YOUR organization is invited to participate. Run 4 Fun 4 Foster Kids is a Run/Walk event to launch Camp to Belong O.C. and is an opportunity for your organization to help make a difference.

Run 4 Fun is a 4k that will be held at Irvine Regional Park, just down the hill from the new state-of-the-art Outdoor Education Center, which will be home to Camp to Belong O.C.

So, what exactly is Camp to Belong?

Camp to Belong is a national organization that gives siblings who live separately from each other in foster or out of home care an unforgettable week of camp that hones in on strengthening sibling relationships. The Eddie Nash Foundation teamed up with the Foster Care Auxiliary of Orange County to bring this amazing camp into O.C.’s backyard.

By partnering with your organization, we as a community create the opportunity for siblings to reunite.

You’re thinking, how can my organization get involved?

You can help us raise money, while earning money for your organization too! Too good to be true? No way! We call this the 60/40 split. That means your organization gets to keep 40% of proceeds generated from ticket sales. It is as easy as this: your organization will be given one booklet containing 30 tickets to sell to participants in the Run 4 Fun O.C.

Sounds great, right? But wait! Your organization has yet another opportunity to lend a hand. With the 40 percent given back from sales, your organization can use that money to sponsor a foster child to attend Camp to Belong O.C.!

Let’s not stop there!

Sending one child to camp sounds great; but since Camp to Belong is all about reuniting siblings, The Eddie Nash Foundation will match the donation made on behalf of your organization in order to send a sibling group!

Pretty simple, don’t you agree? Sell a book of tickets for the Run 4 Fun and you could send a sibling group to their dream camp!
